# Manage Evelin's Linear permissions

> Choose which issue, planning, and collaboration actions Evelin may perform in your connected Linear teams.

Control what Evelin can do in Linear from **Evelin AI → Integrations → Manage**. These controls apply within the teams authorized during the Linear connection; they cannot grant access to additional teams.

## Choose the allowed actions

| Group | Permissions |
| - | - |
| Read & search | Search issues and read their details and comments. |
| Issue management | Create issues, edit titles and descriptions, change status or priority, assign or unassign issues, and add or remove existing labels. |
| Planning | Read existing projects and cycles, move an issue into or out of an existing project, and change its cycle. |
| Collaboration | Add comments and attach the current Protodesk conversation link to an issue. |

Use a group's switch to turn all permissions in that group on or off. The group switch is on only when every permission in that group is selected. Expand the group to make individual choices, then select **Save changes**.

Planning permissions work with existing projects and cycles; they do not create projects or cycles. Linking a conversation attaches its link without copying its messages. A link does not grant the recipient access to Protodesk.

## Pause access without disconnecting

Turn off **Evelin access** and save to pause Evelin's use of Linear while retaining the connection. Use this when the connection should remain configured but AI should not use it for now.

Disconnecting removes the connection instead. You will need to connect again before using it.

## Understand permission boundaries

Creating an issue includes its initial details and assignment. Permissions for changing existing issues are controlled separately.

Write actions may read issue details needed to carry out the requested change. Turning off **Read issues** should not be treated as a guarantee that permitted write actions never inspect an issue.

If an action is blocked, check both the saved Protodesk permissions and the teams authorized in Linear before reconnecting or retrying.
