# Manage your profile and personal preferences

> Update your name, photo, availability, timezone, Evelin language, and appearance, and understand the current signature limitations.

Open **Settings → Account**, or open your account menu and choose **Account settings**, to manage your own profile and preferences. These controls are different from workspace settings and other teammates' accounts.

## Update your name and timezone

1. In **Profile**, edit **Full name**.
2. Choose your **Timezone**, such as **Jakarta (WIB)**.
3. Select **Save changes** and wait for **Saved.**

The account **Email** field is read-only. It is not an email-change form. Contact support if you need help with the identity used to sign in; editing a display name does not change that identity or your workspace permissions.

The personal timezone setting is not a workspace business-hours or SLA setting. Check the timezone shown by scheduling controls rather than assuming every date display uses this preference.

## Change your profile photo

Select the photo under **Profile** and choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF file up to 5 MB. Wait for the upload to complete and check for any error. Use **Remove profile photo** to remove the existing photo.

Photo changes save separately from the main **Save changes** button. Do not navigate away during an upload. If it fails, check the format, file size, and connection, then try again. Use an image you are comfortable displaying to teammates.

## Set your availability

Choose **Online**, **Busy**, **Away**, or **Offline** from **Availability**. You can also change availability from your account menu in the main navigation.

Availability saves immediately. If the update fails, the account form restores the previous selection and shows an error. Check the selected status after trying again.

Availability is not a sign-out control, an out-of-office reply, or a change to workspace business hours. Do not assume that selecting Busy or Offline stops every notification or reassignment. Configure those workflows separately.

## Choose your Evelin language

Under **AI assistance**, choose **Evelin language**, then select **Save changes**. Choose **Use workspace default** to follow the workspace's default instead of a personal choice.

This preference controls your private answers and draft reviews. It is not a customer-reply language override: customer replies use the customer's language unless you choose another language for a draft. It also does not translate the dashboard or publish Help Center translations.

## Understand the signature setting

Under **Messaging**, you can enter a personal **Signature** and select **Save changes**. However, do not rely on the current inbox automatically adding that saved signature. Check the actual reply before sending and add your sign-off manually if it is absent.

The account signature is separate from Evelin's style guidance and greeting/sign-off preferences. Saving one does not configure the other. If you try to clear a saved signature, reopen the account page to verify the result; do not assume a blank field has removed the stored value.

## Change appearance

Open your account menu and choose **Appearance → Light**, **Dark**, or **System**. System follows your device's light/dark preference. Appearance is stored in the current browser; another browser or device may use a different choice. It does not change your public Help Center branding.

## If changes do not save

Check the error beside the affected control. For the main form, wait for **Saved.** before leaving. Photos and availability save separately, so an error in one control does not necessarily undo another change.

Save name, timezone, language, and signature edits before changing availability or the photo: those controls refresh account data and may replace unsaved form values. If your session expires, sign in again and verify the settings before repeating an update.

Leave the password fields empty for ordinary profile edits. For password changes, use the account-access guide and check the result separately if you also change profile settings.
