# Test Evelin in Playground

> Try a realistic customer question privately and check the answer against the knowledge used.

Use **Evelin AI → Playground** to test how Evelin answers a customer question with your current knowledge sources. Playground does not send the result to a customer.

## Run a test

1. Open **Evelin AI → Playground**.
2. Check **Knowledge for this test**. If sources are unavailable or still preparing, open **Knowledge sources** and resolve that first.
3. Enter a realistic **Customer message**. You can optionally include a customer name or a supported image.
4. Select **Test answer** beneath the message.
5. Review the result before using similar guidance with a customer.

## What to review

* **Evelin reply:** does the answer actually solve the customer's question?
* **Evelin interpretation:** did Evelin understand the intent correctly?
* **Knowledge used:** do the cited sources support the claims?
* Where shown, inspect the image interpretation and additional retrieved evidence.

Check names, product steps, amounts, dates, and links against the source. A fluent answer can still be incomplete or wrong.

## Improve and test again

Correct missing or contradictory information in the original Help Center article or connected website. Publish the article or sync the website, wait for preparation, then retry the same question and a few alternative phrasings.

If Playground shows **Testing unsaved settings**, the preview applies only to that test. It does not save your workspace defaults. Return to **Style** to save the changes you want your team to use.
