Email Preferences stores your choices for account and product emails from Protodesk. It does not enable or disable your workspace’s support address, customer replies, or email forwarding.

Save your choices

  1. Open Settings → Email Preferences.
  2. Review each category and set its switch to the state you want.
  3. Select Save preferences and wait for Preferences saved.
  4. Reopen the page and check that the choices remain as intended.
Preferences belong to your account, not to every teammate in the workspace. Check the account you are signed into before making changes. If a switch does not visibly change on the first click, check its displayed state before saving; do not assume that a click turned it off.

What the categories describe

These labels describe preference groups, not a guarantee that every listed campaign or digest is available. Saving a preference does not create a subscription campaign, generate a digest, or send a test email.

Current limitations

The current release saves these choices, but enforcement across every account-email sender has not been established. Do not treat an off switch as a guaranteed stop for all mail in that category, or an on switch as proof that a message will be sent. The page explicitly excludes security and billing-critical emails from optional opt-out. Keep your account mailbox accessible. If unwanted optional mail continues, use a legitimate preference or unsubscribe link in that message when available, or contact support with the message type and date. Never share password-reset links or authentication codes.

Choose the right settings page

  • Settings → Email: connects and diagnoses the workspace’s customer support email channel.
  • Settings → Email Preferences: saves your account/product email choices.
  • Settings → Notifications: saves operational alert preferences, quiet hours, and notification-channel choices. Its daily-digest control is separate from Weekly digest here; neither switch proves that a scheduled summary is running.
For missing customer messages, follow email delivery troubleshooting. For missing operational alerts, follow notification delivery.
