Use the workspace switcher to move between workspaces you already belong to. Owners and admins can update the current workspace’s name and logo in Settings → General.

Switch to another workspace

  1. Select the current workspace’s name or icon in the main navigation to open the workspace switcher.
  2. Under Your workspaces, choose the workspace you want to open. The current workspace has a check mark.
  3. Wait for the app to reload, then check the workspace name before reading or changing anything.
The list is based on your memberships. Switching does not copy conversations, customers, Help Center articles, integrations, or settings into another workspace. Your role can be different in each workspace. Finish or save any work in progress before switching because the app reloads. If a workspace is missing, confirm that you are signed in with the invited account and ask its owner or admin to check your membership. New workspace in the switcher is currently unavailable. It is not a working way to create an additional workspace. Ask support if you need another workspace instead of changing an existing workspace to stand in for a new one.

Change the workspace name

  1. Open Settings → General in the correct workspace.
  2. Select Edit beside the workspace identity section, which shows the workspace name and slug.
  3. Update Workspace name.
  4. Select Save, then verify the displayed name. Use Cancel to discard the form changes.
You must be an owner or admin to save workspace settings. A name change does not create a new workspace or change membership. In Settings → General, select Change workspace logo and follow the image chooser. Logo changes are separate from the name form; do not expect the name form’s Cancel button to undo a completed logo change. Use Remove workspace logo only if you want to remove the custom workspace image. This controls workspace identity, not all customer-facing branding. Review your Help Center and Live Chat appearance separately.

Understand the slug and public addresses

The identity form also shows a Slug field. Renaming the effective workspace slug is not currently supported reliably: saving that field does not update the authoritative workspace address. Leave it unchanged and contact support if you need an address change. The workspace slug is not your public Help Center domain, article URL slug, support email address, or website allowed origin. Manage those in their own settings. Changing the workspace name or logo does not reconfigure DNS, email forwarding, or public article links. For public Help Center appearance, see Customize your public Help Center.

Troubleshoot workspace settings

  • Cannot edit: check your current workspace role. Agents and viewers cannot save the general workspace settings.
  • Unexpected workspace content: check the switcher’s current workspace before continuing; do not change another workspace to make it match.
  • Name not updated everywhere: refresh once after saving. If it still differs, share the workspace name and the affected screen with support.
  • Slug returns to its old value: this is a current limitation, not a reason to change your DNS or support-email routing.
  • Logo upload fails: use an image accepted by the chooser and check the displayed upload error. Do not assume an uploaded file was saved until the new logo appears.
