Use Snooze to pause a conversation in the shared inbox. Use Remind me later to keep a personal follow-up without hiding the conversation from teammates. Neither action sends a message to the customer.

Snooze shared work

  1. Open the conversation in Threads.
  2. Open the conversation actions menu and select Snooze.
  3. Choose a quick pick or a date and time. Check the timezone displayed in the picker.
  4. Select Set snooze.
Snooze requires permission to update the conversation. Choose a future time. The regular inbox excludes conversations while their snooze time is still in the future; the Snoozed filter lets you find them. When the time passes, the conversation becomes eligible for the regular inbox again. Other filters still apply: a conversation that is archived, marked as spam, or assigned elsewhere might not appear in your current queue. Snoozing does not change who owns the next action. For an existing snooze, reopen its action to Edit snooze. Choose another time and select Update, or select Unsnooze to end the pause immediately.

Set your own reminder

  1. Open the conversation actions menu and select Remind me later.
  2. Choose a future date and time, or No deadline.
  3. Optionally enter a short note about what you need to check.
  4. Select Set reminder.
The reminder belongs to your account and leaves the shared conversation visible. It is separate from an internal note, which teammates can read. Keep shared handoff information in an internal note rather than only in your reminder. A timed reminder is intended to create an in-app bell notification when it becomes due. It is not an outgoing customer follow-up, a guaranteed email notification, or an exact-to-the-second alarm. No deadline keeps the reminder available for you to revisit but does not schedule an alert. Use the Reminders filter to find your reminders. Reopen Edit reminder to change its time or note and select Update. Use Clear reminder when the follow-up is no longer needed.

If work does not reappear

Check that you are in the correct workspace and signed in as the account that set the reminder. Review the chosen time and timezone, active queue filters, and the conversation’s archive/spam state. A personal reminder does not assign the conversation to you or override these filters. If a timed reminder is overdue without a notification, inspect the conversation directly and contact support with its link and the expected time/timezone. Do not rely on a reminder alone for a time-critical commitment. Related: assign and organize conversations and search, filter, and save views.
