Evelin can use your published Help Center articles and connected public websites to answer customer questions. Manage these in Evelin AI → Knowledge sources. You need permission to manage workspace AI settings to change these sources.

Use Help Center articles

  1. Create or update the article in Help Center → Articles.
  2. Check its accuracy and publish it when it is ready for customers.
  3. Open Evelin AI → Knowledge sources.
  4. Enable the Help Center source if it is off, then save your changes.
  5. Wait for the article preparation status to show Ready.
The Help Center must be published before its articles can be used for answers. Draft articles are never used. A newly published revision needs preparation before it becomes available to Evelin.

Connect a website

Under Websites, choose Connect website and supply the site’s public sitemap URL. Evelin uses the sitemap to discover and prepare pages. You can refresh a source manually or choose an available refresh schedule. Connecting a website does not create public articles in your Protodesk Help Center.

Check source readiness

Preparing means work is still in progress. Needs attention means some content could not be prepared. Inspect the available details and retry failed preparation when appropriate. A published article count alone does not prove every article is ready for answers. Finish by testing realistic questions in Evelin AI → Playground. Check that the sources support the answer, not just that the wording sounds plausible.
