AI-generated Help Center content goes through Needs review before it changes your articles. Review the wording, facts, and publication effect—not just the title.

Open the review queue

  1. Open Help Center → Needs review.
  2. Select a proposal or open the review link returned by your authoring tool.
  3. For an update, compare the proposed content with the existing article.
  4. For a new article, check its title, content, language, collection, and URL slug.
  5. Review any notes about source evidence or items that need verification.
AI authoring tools can submit proposals with the appropriate permissions. They cannot approve or publish those proposals themselves.

Choose what happens next

  • Save draft: save a proposed new article privately so you can continue editing it in Articles.
  • Update draft: apply an update to an existing draft without publishing it.
  • Publish or Publish update: publish the new content immediately. For an already-published article, this changes its live content. Help Center visibility settings still apply.
  • Delete: remove the review request from the queue without changing the original article. A deleted new-article proposal does not create an article.
Read the confirmation before applying your decision. Saving a draft and publishing are separate choices; you do not have to publish a new proposal just because it is ready for review.

Review multiple proposals

You can select proposals and choose Publish ready, Delete, or, when the selection contains only new articles and drafts, Save as drafts. Check the exact selected items and the confirmation summary. Individual items may fail, so inspect the outcome rather than assuming every selected proposal was applied. If the original article has changed since the proposal was prepared, resolve the conflict against the latest version. Do not overwrite a teammate’s newer work with an older suggestion.

Before publishing a new draft

Check the instructions in the current product, remove internal information, verify links, and preview the formatting. Only publish when the article is accurate for the customers who will read it.
